Cornwall Ramada Donates to the Hospital

The Cornwall Ramada Inn and Conference Centre has made a contribution of $10,000 to the "Our Hospital, Our Future" campaign.

"Our Hospital, Our Future" is the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation's fundraising campaign to build a new hospital. The campaign's goal is to raise $12 million of the projected costs of $59 million to redevelop the Cornwall Community Hospital. The remainder of the funds will come from municipal and provincial governments.

The Cornwall Community Hospital is the primary acute care facility for a region encompassing the Counties of Stormont, Dundas & Glengary, as well as the Mohawk community of Akwesasne. Last year, inpatient and day surgery cases numbered 15,000 and more than 100,000 emergency cases were handled. With a staff of 1,100, the Cornwall Community Hospital is the largest employer in Cornwall.
