Prime Minister Harper at the Ramada
Prime Minister Harper holds up a Team Cornwall jersey with his name on it. Team Cornwall chair Gilles Latour presented the jersey in the gardens at the Cornwall Ramada.

Prime Minister Harper and his Cabinet experienced Cornwall�s friendly nature as they received a warm welcome when they arrived for a series of caucus meetings in early August. While closed door meetings took place at NAV Canada Conference Centre, the party held some informal encounters at the Ramada Inn.
During the luncheon, the Prime Minister was made an honourary member of the City�s renowned Team Cornwall. �Prime Minister Harper has unparalleled opportunities to spread the word that Canada - and Cornwall - is a great place to do business", said Team Cornwall Chair, Gilles Latour. �He now has a new supply of Team Cards that will help him deliver that message�.
The Prime Minister received his very own supply of the famous Team Cornwall �hockey cards�, featuring his photo and name on the front, and the Prime Minister�s office contact information along with a promotional message about Cornwall on the back. Mr. Harper was also presented with a Team Cornwall hockey jersey.
�Cornwall is a great city enriched by the peaceful co-existence of English and French for hundreds of years and of great economic and strategic importance to Canada because of the Seaway International Bridge. The members of Team Cornwall should be commended for their work as goodwill ambassadors for this great city.�
