Mother Daughter Night a Sell-Out Success

The 8th Annual Mother Daughter Night was held Thursday May 3, 2007, and has been the case for the last several years, it was a sell out success!
Over 230 women attended the event which is held to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. The women first enjoyed a casual cocktail hour, where they can browsed exhibits from several of Cornwall's leading companiies. The focal point of the room was undoubtedly the 4-foot high cascading chocolate fondue fountain!
The women were then escorted to their chairs by an all-male celebrity serving staff led by former CFL star and owner of the Cornwall Ramada, Scott Lecky. Canadian Champion auctioneer Theresa Taylor auctioned off three fabulous deserts that came along with a personal server for the winning tables. Cornwall Ramada Chef Joe Ghinder suprised and delighted the women with a fantastic meal that featured four different wine samplings.
This year over $2400 was raised for the Breast Cancer Research through the Canadian Cancer Society. The event is the brainchild of the Cornwall Ramada's Director of Sales, Ms. Joanne Brault.
