Cornwall knows how to have fun in the winter! Come visit for these fun events!
Cornwall’s historic Aultsville Theatre is central to the arts community in Cornwall. This 658 seat theatre with lush acoustics and an intimate feeling hosts stage shows, cinema, and is even available for event rentals all year round! On January 26-28, one of Cornwall’s most anticipated events is returning: the Aultsville Film Festival! Featuring independent films from around the globe, this is a full weekend of astoundingly compelling cinema. This year’s line-up includes Wild Tales from Argentina, an anthology film featuring tales of revenge, Amy, a British documentary about the trouble life of deceased singer Amy Winehouse, The Second Mother, a Brazilian drama that examines class difference when the daughter of a live-in housekeeper to a rich family disappears, and many more! It’s a fantastic weekend event for the true cinephile. Not to be missed.
Have a little girl in your life who loves Disney princesses and dressing up in colourful dresses? Who wonders what it would be like to take a pumpkin chariot to the ball? Well then you should take her to the 4th Annual Princess Ball in Cornwall Ontario, at the Cornwall Civic Complex!
The Princess Ball is a fundraiser put on by the Kinette Club of Cornwall, raising money for cystic fibrosis research and the Cornwall Boys & Girls Club! This is the perfect place to put on your tiaras and “glass” slippers. Activities include face painting, a photo booth, a cupcake bar, dancing and more – there’s even free valet parking for a truly “royal” experience! Give your princess an experience she’ll cherish forever while raising money for a good cause this February 4. Tickets available here!
Book a room at the Ramada Cornwall Hotel when in the area for unrivalled luxury and comfort!
