When you're staying at the Ramada this fall and looking for some great family friendly indoor activities - check these out:
Ontario Power Generations Visitor Centre
The St. Lawrence Seaway and Power Project was one of the largest publics works projects ever undertaken in Canada. Visit the Ontario Power Generations Visitor Centre for an interactive historical look at the creation of the St. Lawrence Seaway. During your visit, you will learn about the large impact the project had on the communities of the area – some positive some negative, as well as how the creation of the seaway impacted natural habitats. This is a great activity for the whole family when in Cornwall.
The Glass Blowing Place
The Glass Blowing place is a studio containing a viewing gallery, a place to learn about the visual arts, a fine glass gallery and an educational centre. You can visit the gallery from 9am-5pm from Tuesday to Saturday and from 11am to 5pm on Sundays. While on site, simply check out the beautiful glassworks of Glengarry GlassBlowing (the name of the studio) or sign up for an introductory course or master workshop.
