Even if things look a little different this year due to the ongoing pandemic, it’s still possible to plan a special evening full of love. From grabbing tickets to see the Seaway Valley Theatre Company’s latest musical to going for a winter stroll in one of the region’s many parks, check out three Valentine’s date ideas to do in Cornwall.
Grab Tickets to Nunsense
The Seaway Valley Theatre Company is back with another incredible show - Nunsense! Their winter musical is being performed on select dates between February 11th and the 26th, with shows scheduled for both February 12th and 13th. This popular play tells the story of the Little Sisters of Hoboken, who quickly discover that their cook has poisoned one of the sisters. The Seaway Valley Theatre Company reimagines Nunsense by infusing it with new jokes, an additional song, and two new arrangements.
Order Delivery From Your Favourite Restaurant
If dining out isn’t possible come to Valentine’s Day, you can still plan a special dinner by ordering takeout or delivery from your favourite local restaurant. Some of the top eateries in Cornwall include Edward’s Bistro, Table 21: Steakhouse & Oyster Bar, Thum’s Kitchen, and Au Vieux Duluth Cornwall.
Go For A Winter Stroll Through Lamoreaux Park
Get outdoors this Valentine’s Day by planning a scenic winter stroll with your partner. There are plenty of spots to go for a leisurely walk near Cornwall - Lamoreaux Park for one. This park has lots of beautiful walking paths that take you right along the St. Lawrence River. Other options include Guindon Park, or for a more serious winter hike, head to Summerstown Forest or South Stormont Recreational Trail.
